February has been a big month for us musically! With a return to our usual concert-filled schedule after a quiet January, and lots of new discoveries, here are the artists we’ve really been loving this month!

Week 1: Inhaler
We just had to pick Inhaler for week one. They’ve been a regular feature on our playlists for years now and it’s been amazing to see them grow and hear their sound evolve.
Their third album, Open Wide, was released on the 7th of February, adding another album loaded with great tracks to their discography. We’re not quite sure what our favourite song from this album is yet, but Your House, Eddie In The Darkness, and X-Ray are definitely all in the running for the number one spot. They also toured the UK this month, stopping in several major cities.
We were very happy to see them again after having not seen them since the final show of the Cuts & Bruises tour in Dublin in 2023, which honestly feels like a lifetime ago now. The good news is they’re back and better than ever!

Week 2: Gurriers
We already liked Gurriers, but after seeing them open for Inhaler we’ve not been able to stop listening to them. Their live performances bring the best kind of chaos and and infectious energy that leaves you wanting more.
They released their debut album, Come And See, in September 2024. It’s a fierce debut, blending raw punk energy with sharp musicianship and lyrical bite. Tracks like “Nausea” and “Dipping Out” hit with relentless force, whilst moments like “Prayers” add unexpected depth, making for an album that’s both ferocious and thoughtful.
They currently have plenty of dates scheduled around the UK on their Come And See Tour, if they’re coming to your city you do not want to miss them!

Week 3: The Murder Capital
The Murder Capital are one of many brilliant bands to come out of Dublin recently and we can’t get enough of them. Their music combines post-punk angst with poetic and thoughtful lyrics, exploring themes such as self-reflection, grief, and emotional turmoil.
Blindness, the band’s third album, was released on the 21st of February and we have a feeling it’s going to be on heavy rotation for us for the rest of the year. Their debut album can be described as dark and intense, whereas their second album, Gigi’s Recovery, delivered a brighter and more hopeful emotional journey. Blindness complements their previous work beautifully, adding perspective and freshness congruent with the band’s personal growth. Our favourites on the album include Love of Country, The Fall, and Words Lost Meaning.
The Murder Capital have a busy year ahead – they kicked off a series of album release shows across the UK and Ireland this month, followed by a few Australia and New Zealand dates starting in March and a full UK and EU tour in April and May.

Week 4: Honeyglaze
Honeyglaze are a band we are absolutely loving at the moment! The South London trio are known for their fluid approach to indie rock, blending intimate storytelling with an ever evolving sound. Originally the solo project of vocalist and guitarist Anouska Sokolow, the band took shape with bassist Tim Curtis and Drummer Yuri Shibuichi completing the line up, creating a dynamic that thrives on spontaneity and emotional depth.
Their 2022 self titled debut album captured a raw, unfiltered energy. Their 2024 follow up, Real Deal, showed the band maturing both lyrically and sonically. Real Deal embraces a broader spectrum of influences whilst maintaining the organic charm that first set Honeyglaze apart from the masses.
The band are currently touring the UK, with dates throughout Europe coming in the spring. They have also been showing up on plenty of festival line ups for the summer, so definitely keep an eye out for them on any of the ones you’re planning to attend!
