After teasing an announcement on their social media, Inhaler bring us news of a new tour for their much anticipated third studio album, Open Wide. Currently on a tour of North America, they have already given us a taste of their new songs, with unreleased tracks Eddie in the Darkness, A Question of You, and the album’s title track Open Wide all making an appearance on the setlist already, as well as newly released Your House.
With it being almost a year since the final show of their Cuts & Bruises tour, fans have been delighted to see them again and even more so to be treated to the new tracks. Inhaler are working with a new producer on this album, Kid Harpoon, and it’s clear they have taken time during their break to evolve their style, with the new songs still sounding familiar enough to know it’s Inhaler, but different enough to keep things interesting and build further excitement for the album’s release.
Your House is the first single released for this album, coming out just 3 days ago, and it highlights the band’s more pop influenced side. The inclusion of a choir for backing vocals is a new move from the band and something that makes us very excited to see what direction they will take with this record.
